In 2022, NASA collaborated with even more space agency partners to bring the largest annual global hackathon to communities around the world! These space agency partners , along with NASA’s engineers at the Earth Science Division, came up with innovative problem statements (literally out of this world). They provide access to this data and other resources around Earth Observations for solving the challenges.
This year, the NASA International Space Apps Challenge Global Organizing Team collaborates with organizations from around the world to provide participants and/or Local Leads with tools and resources that enable the creation of solutions. These tools and resources can be used for free during the event.
NASA Spaceapps Challenge 2023 is being held at the heart of Ireland, Athlone. Technology University of the Shannon is being presented as the host location for this massive in-person hackathon. The university needs no introduction for its merits in innovation and technology, preaching knowledge and excellence to over 7000+ students. It is also responsible for supporting the hackathon with technological components, hackshop materials and subject matter experts to provide mentorship for a smooth and exciting event.
